- Vegan. about a year and a half or so thus far. went straight to vegan after seeing "meet your meat" and "earthlings."
- About Me:
- tattoos. real friends. running. cycling. music, movies, and books. relatively laid back, easy going and looking for people of the same type. i work in social services, providing housing to formerly homeless, mentally ill adults throughout NYC. i am an advocate for any cause i believe in, while trying to educate rather than preach...as i feel preaching only alienates you and your cause more while education actually has the power to change views. i am an education junkie, having recently completed my second master's degree...and i believe that the truely educated never graduate and can always learn. open mindedness is essential.

for the record, "the delivery man" is a reference to a song by (in my humble opinion) the greatest living musician, elvis costello. just to clarify, since i've got an email or two asking.
and as for my tattoo pictures, please forgive the not great quality...i couldn't find my good ones so i took them myself. some of them are rather difficult to do solo (like your upper arm of your preferred hand). i'll try to get better ones soon, but you get the idea.....

i was actually surprised to find that it was listed on MSN's home page, which means it did and will get lots of hits. these types of situations really upset me, but at the very least i am hoping this article will start educating people and perhaps starting discussions. things like this make me want to sign up for ALF and start raids. so disgusting.
