- tree hugging, earth loving, natural is best believing mama, wife & seamstress.... Been rescuing & fostering dogs from high kill shelters scheduled for euthanasia for almost 10 years; and have adopted a ridiculous number of strays of many, many species
i sneak outside to feed the raccoons that teasr through our trash & mke the husband crazy; and my husband has banned me from visiting all animal shelters as a sunday afternoon activity.
I once stood in the middle of the cleveland APL on wiley ave, begging my fiance to let me adopt the poor rabbit that had been stuck into the cat room, with a sad little sign that said "please take me, i'm only fifteen dollars". When i burst into tears he yelled "you'd adopt a cown if it was fifteen dolars!" and banned me from visiting apl's for something to do. And, i fear, he was right. i'd adopt a cow for fiteen dollars. Probably even more.
