HI. Thanks- I put that playlist everywhere. Love it!! As for the group, it's listed under the veghaven groups, but if you look under my groups on my page, it's there... sorry, i don't know the link. hope that helps.
I'm not even sure how to explain what prompted that decision....I guess I figured if I was going to leave the country, I might as well "go big". I've never been good at taking "baby steps"-haha. I spent most of my time in Palampur but I tried to see as much as I could while I was there.
Ah I'm so jealous! I went a few months ago (the only time I've been out of the country...ever) and I've been wanting to go back ever since I got on the plane to leave. So which area did you live in?
Good to meet you. When you get a chance, check out the New England Vegeterians group. There aren't many of us, but everyone is wicked nice.

Vegan/ Raw
About Me:
I became a vegetarian at 9 when I encountered a cute pig upon a silver platter on the dinning room table with an apple in its mouth. I have been a vegan for last few years and in the summer often go raw. In India I did a mango fast for 6 weeks.. there are many varieties with very diffrent flavors, my favorite is the Bengali Himsagar. I ran a veg restaurant. Had a veg homeless meals program that was featured on ABC news. I set up a booth every year at the Boston Vegetarian Food Festival. My main interest and occupation is in writing.. sharing moving stories that promote simple living high thinking, a spirit centered life. My grandfather had a vegetarian nudist commune in the 1920s called April Farm in Pennsylvania. His Mother wrote a book called "Hindu mind training" he and his brothers were the object of this training. In the Vedic scriptures there is the statement "one should only accept those things necessary for one self and leave the rest, knowing well to Whom it belongs." This mood inspired my Grandfather to give away a million dollars inheritance for underdog causes. Eventual his donation entirely funded Brown vs. the Board of education, and the desegregation of American schools and society. All a result of refusing wealth, inspired by 5000 year old ancient wisdom from India.
