I think your words convey a clarity and wisdom I have missed living the city :). Thanks.

creating is a good idea. i think doing so helps one to find resonance in the universe which is always creating.

letting go is even better. as thoreau wrote: "A man is rich in proportion to the number of things he can afford to let alone". it may not seem logical, but it is nevertheless true.

i understand now that you have explained it further. however, i don't think not making a choice is what should be intimidating - after all, if you don't have a worthwhile choice to make, why should you make one?

i think what could be intimidating is that there may not be a worthwhile choice to being with. this can happen in a society that has gone amuck with its value system.

in any case, i presume you've been reading the thread on the veghaven forum regarding the candidates and animal rights: http://veghaven.org/forum/topic/show?id=1350827%3ATopic%3A85126

it's not too bad. it looks like there are still some people left there who do have a suitable position regarding animal rights, so that is possibly encouraging.

Very interesting! "do what thou wilt, harm none" - I really like that statement. It is simple, clear, and concise. Thanks for alerting it to me, Tome.

I was just thinking that the choice that intimidates me most is not making a choice.

S So. I always feel like I am directing my life. Making the ... maki... directing? Whats the red line imply about the word?
-------
this is sufficiently cryptic that i'm not completely sure it was intended for me, so perhaps you can clarify.

however, i find you do have an interesting construct when you write you are intimidated by the 'choice of not making a choice'. if 'not making a choice' is itself a choice, then is it not impossible to 'not make a choice'? if so, is there anything to be intimidated about?

Profile Information

Are you Vegetarian, Vegan or something else?
Macrobiotic Raised. I have been eating organic free range eggs and eggs from our friends chickens over the last couple of years and I am still conflicted about it. I know its an indulgence that ultimately derives from the animals being treated in a way I would rather not be treated.

Balance is my main focus and listening to my body as well as staying in tune with the movement resonance frequencies that streach me open.
About Me:
Father with two children 2.5 and 4.5 both vegetarian but my son did eat a scallop once at his own request. Anything bigger than a scallop I explained to him that he would need to kill before eating. He said that that sounds good and that he would like to kill a chicken. He has explained to me the different ways it can be done.
