- Are you Vegetarian, Vegan or something else?
- I have been a vegeterian for the past 7 years, a meat eater due to peer pressure for a few years, and a vegeterian for 5 years before that.
- About Me:
- I have been a hairstylist for the past 20 years, and am now working my way through nursing school one class at a time. I used to live in a small farming town in michigan, and always hated seeing the animals getting herded onto semi's to go to the slaughter house. After seeing video footage of how it was actually done , i decided that I did not want to be a part of that vicious cycle anymore, and became a vegeterian, much to the dismay of my carnivorous family, who thought I was nuts.
I am now living in chicago, have a small city farm( 3 cats 1 dog), and still have people shocked about me being vegeterian. There are not as many of us out here as i thought there would be. I have met many compassionate people when it comes to animals, just alot of them dont understand that it should translate to all animals, not just ones that can live in your house.
I am developing interests in buddhism, going green , nursing and health, and meeting cool people.
I am in a long term relationship , though the love of my life is my chihuahua, Frances!
