I first became a vegetarian at the age of 15, then started eating meat again at the age of 24 when I became pregnant with my beautiful daughter... Being ignorant at the time, I feared that I would be robbing her of proper nutrition by not eating meat proteins. Of course I know better than that now- and ironically have returned back to my vegetarian roots after my daughter (now 12) became vegetarian and begged me to join her in cruelty free living!
