Lo and behold , one of her friend's parents wants to take her to a "wrestling" match, and she has gladly accepted this offer, and may be meeting her boyfriend there. Question? Why is it any different being brought by another…

Depending in where you live there are different laws. Some states are ven extending the laws that restrict homeschooling. I just took my daughter out, which is actually illegel.I'm going to be moving out of the country however so I will not be bothered with the repercussions. I have homeschooled before however.A long time ago it was much easier. Under the age of seven nothing was needed where I resided. After that age their was a few options, one including a liscence to homeschool your child that was obtained bypaying some fees, and selecting a curriculum. Some states you are now required to first obtain a four year degree. I have to question the states motives at this point due to the fact that home schooled children earn higher test scores then that of a child at a public school. Not to mention the money being spent on public education verses self responsibility. If the government lacks the simplest of reasoning and they are the ones who provide the curriculum to the schools, I do not want my children there to be taught by that government. Or if the government has an alterior motive for socialism in the schools...again I do not want my children there. How I found out on homeschooling before, is I typed key words into the search engine of my computer until I found what best suited me. If you are in California you might come across some problems. However their are always loop holes
interesting looking at the comments below about gardening as I am hoping to make mine more creature friendly this year--it's only small and doesn't get much sun--or I should say it gets sun for a a short time a day--used to have large evergreens but they caused too much damage and have been removed--hedgehogs don't come here now so slugs are a plenty--want to encourage a return so will be looking at ways to do that and make it more environmental--don't really want to go in for slug slaughter but they do eat all the plants--except the lavender of course
speak again soon
be well
