Friends, it's really important that the whole membership be aware of the following discussion here on fungevetarians.com: Click here >> www.tinyurl.com/32hm8h
Don't be left behind! Your input will directly affect the future of our budding community.
Not enough of the site membership is participating in this vital forum. WE NEED YOUR INPUT NOW! Please join in the creative group brainstorming & weigh in with your constructive feedback. We need to breathe new life into the site name change discussion, it's getting stale in there (no offense intended to the pro-active members who are graciously & actively brainstorming ~ it's simply that we need some new blood in the mix to open up the discussion more.) Come submit some fresh ideas! ... Otherwise we'll be stuck with a URL that makes us sound like a veggie dating site... yikes!
Please do your part to help get the word out ~ send a message to all your friends here at funveg! (Or whatever the heck our name is...!) We're solid in our identity as a thriving new community... we just haven't figured out what to call ourselves yet!
And while we're at it... please >> join the Veggie Connection group! The goal is for this group to become the biggest here on Veg*n Exchange, and to become the #1 group for interaction between members.
Spread the love ~ please pass this message on! All Love, Kamaniya

I'd like to invite you to join a couple of discussions: One is >> The MYTH of “FREE-RANGE” EGGS. My post contains vital info that your veggie & non-veggie friends might not know about... even you might be surprised! Please spread the word & also add your thoughts to the discussion.
Another discussion is titled “Getting the message out” please >> click here. I’m inspired to encourage people to join this particular thread in the hopes that they will reply very carefully to the original discussion post, which opens with the line “I feel the subject of preventing animal cruelty im(p)edes the Vegetarian/Vegan message rather than helps it.” I hope you too will feel inspired to add your thoughts to this delicate discussion. Please invite your friends to join in so that we can bring more light of wisdom to this sharing!

I live in Coastal Southern California and enjoy being a Vegan for life. I surf, paint, and was a dancer for 20 years. I love the ocean....it soothes me. :)
So glad to meet new Vegan/Veg friends - united, we CAN make a difference!
My story? I ate meat as a child without ever wondering or knowing what was involved in its journey from "farm" to my plate.
My father was born in the countryside of Virginia and at age 12, the family took a road trip to see the country. Boy, was that an awakening in many ways, most notably, being my uncle's farm.
The farm, nested in the gorgeous hills of VA, was simply enchanting and my uncle had many adorable animals which I thought were his pets! Well, they were Not pets. :(
Saw firsthand how meat got to my plate and that planted the Vegan seed into my pysche and my spirit. By age 15, I cut down on meat a lot, then became a complete Vegan at age 20. Going 20 years strong now - never will go back.
Also, I am also Straight Edge and buy all Organic/Cruelty-Free Items..

I have a deep-rooted passion for social justice and try to effect change as best I can. People + animals have a right to be free of unneccesary and unnatural suffering. My compassion for both people; animals, mother earth has quite obviously shaped my worldview and the paths I've taken (and will continue to travel. :)
Would Love to Connect with Animal Lovers all over the World! This is an Open Forum for members to start Discussions about World issues concerning Animals or post petitions to help animals. Site allows members to send messages to entire group.
