- VEGAN!!! I believe it is a journey of truth and love. An awakening of the soul. A concious decision to live compassionately through awareness followed by direct action in the choices you make.
- About Me:
- I am the organizer for a local PDX metro VEGAN meetup group. We hold actual meetup events every month - sometimes just one and most other times they are practically every weekend day. I run the group as a way to help build Vegan community - trying to bridge the gap between the different types of Vegans we have in the area. We are all after the same thing, some of us just dress and act differently - that shouldn't matter. The group is also a social outlet for Vegans to shed off the pressure from a non-Vegan world and just relax with like minds. It is also a place where Vegans and transitional Vegans can learn, grow and communicate with other Vegans.

More about me: Just another Vegan (8+ yrs) rubbing his eyes waking up to it all. I have great hope and passion that the world can be choicefully changed. I believe we are all on a path to Veganism, some of us have just fallen asleep on the side of the path, are walking aimlessly or just can't find the trail head.

I first used the name, "AzureBlue" when I signed up for AllPoetry.com. I didn't put much thought into it, really. I was signing up on an impulse and I needed a username...and that's what I came up with. Now I use it on several sites. So do other people, apparently. When I google it I find it on a lot of other sites that I am not involved with! :D

I liked your page and the fact that you live in OR and that is why I sent you the friends request.--Please don't feel you have to accept...I am a (young at heart) senior citizen...I would like to find some vegetarian (or vegan)seniors that live in my area, if possible...I have not attended any vegetarian pot lucks or get-togethers, because I don't think there are any in my area.
