why yes I can tell you who sings that song :) It's a mouth full - Israel Kamakawiwo'ole. He does a nice job I think. Thanks for the compliment on the pics..I found them on www.photobucket.com. It's really easy to put pics and stuff on your profile too. Just go to that website, make an account and search for images that interest you. Then just copy and paste the code found underneath or next to the images. If you need better instructions let me know! That's the summed up version, but it IS easy.

maybe someday i'll say that in person... one of my best friends moved to texas last year and i might be traveling this summer to visit. she's in galveston but i'm pretty sure that's close to houston, right?

Nice to meet you as well :) I'm an even newer vegan than you! I went straight from omnivore to vegan in this past December because I saw some horrific videos on youtube. I'm going to school too; currently taking human anatomy and philosophy. I *think* I want to be a dietician, but not completely sure just yet :) Nursing crossed my mind, but I think it would be highly stressful -- so I respect that you are persuing it! :) ttyl
