- Hi everyone! I live in the bay area of California with my awesome husband, Dan, our beautiful dog-ter, Xena, and our sweet cat, Pato. I am a HUGE animal lover, and I am a proud vegan. I have been almost fully vegan for 6 years and 100% vegan for almost 1 year! Yay! Though, I am still learning about all of the places where you can find animal byproducts... so once I learn about this, I stop using whatever it was (mostly bath/body stuff).

I am happiest when I am being creative. I love painting, making jewelry, and doing paper arts. I even co-own a handmade gift business with my husband! I feel very lucky that I get to make a living selling my creations! (Check out our new site at www.thisisit.etsy.com!) We give 5% of our profits to animal-welfare groups. The charities that we currently support are: Best Friends Animal Society, Humane Farming Association, The Jane Goodall Institute, and The Anti-Vivisection Society.

Not enough of the site membership is participating in this vital forum. WE NEED YOUR INPUT NOW! Please join in the creative group brainstorming & weigh in with your constructive feedback. We need to breathe new life into the site name change discussion, it's getting stale in there (no offense intended to the pro-active members who are graciously & actively brainstorming ~ it's simply that we need some new blood in the mix to open up the discussion more.) Come submit some fresh ideas! ... Otherwise we'll be stuck with a URL that makes us sound like a veggie dating site... yikes!
