99.68% vegan. ;-P (e.g. even rubber tires are processed using animal-fat)

About Me:

* extreme sports: ADRENALINE;
* the macabre;
* my dogs are like my kids, and we love playing at the beach...
* ...and I like the beach in general;
* mad-scientist shit (engineer... but I retired when I was 25 and just have income from a patent that reduces your medical costs now [bucking the trend as all your other costs ;-P are going up]) and science in general;
* philosophy (especially episte mology but I like ALL the complex questions);
* jujitsu and other martial arts;
* sailing, scuba, & most other watersports... archery, skating/blading+a little hockey, and Texas Holdem are also nice;
* I'LL BE ONLINE MORE ~~IN JULY~~ hmmm, by August 10th. Is it August already??
* home-cooking: I cook almost every day...
* Soto zen meditation (since I was 11, did zazen whenever I felt like I should, not every day but not so rarely, either. I can appreciate koans too, though.);

SAN DIEGO CA: Well I go there at least 1 month per year to visit my niece, sister, and parents; the vegan stuff out there is amazing compared to little Corpus Christi Texas, but I like a lot of things about Corpus better...and the only veg restaurant in Corpus is great, and so are some Chinese places.

Aside from what's in my music player, I like lesser amounts of: swing+bebop, more 50's rock if it's not too cheezy, trad Irish, cumbia, sitar music, jungle+breakcore, more speed+death metal that makes me shake like Beavis/Cornholio, old 60's ska+reggae......

I'm considering an international move & all the consequences, so I won't be on here much until 2010 except if someone local (TX or CA) comes along... Hope to reply to everyone eventually, take care until then Prad & everyone else.

So, CC has a veg restaurant?! Freakin awesome. We kinda have one in Norman (just south of OKC) but they serve a fish item or two. But anything can be made with vegan cheese and veganaise or even vegan ranch - yum, so that makes me happy. :)
