I am neither a human having a spiritual experience nor a spirit having a human experience. I am human, and only human. I embrace rationality and logic over faith and belief. I gave up the consumption of other animals because I refuse to be a part of the torture and murder of any animal, human or otherwise. I hold firm the the thought that the world could be a more compassionate place, it's just going to take some time.
Music is my life, both playing and collecting. I listen to just about everything that's out there, swaying more towards the independant and obscure than to the radio-friendly. I play bass, sing, and dabble in keyboards. Noise is my area of expertise as far as performance goes, but I've experimented with everything, from funk to metal to indie pop.
I sold my car earlier last year, vowing to never drive another vehicle that runs on fossil fuels. I have my legs, and I have my bike, and that's all I need. I ride fixed gear, and that gives me plenty of reason to think I'm better than you. (Just kidding. You're rad, with or without a coasting gear.) I talk about my bike and cycling way too much, so drop me a line if you're also a cycle nut.
