- Whoo! Vegetarian!!! 4 years!!! started when i was 14!!!! I'm never goin back. Becoming vegetarian was the best thing I've ever done w/ my life and I don't regret it one bit!

I have a wii and xbox 369... (silent yay) I'm 18 yrs old and im getting ready for college... talk about stressful. Im a Taurus, So dont mess w/ me. It takes a lot to piss me off but when it happens back off. I plan to be a zoologist or a professional actor... hmmm.. which dream seems more realistic to you? haha I want to dedicate my life to finding loving homes for abused/neglected or homeless animals. I plan to donate a portion of my paychecks to Children hospitals, animal shelters and vets. I love to read and go watch movies w/ my friends. I LOVE to party!!! Staying out late w/ friends. I dont like being alone. I like company, even if its just sitting on the phone for 3 hours w/ a friend and not saying a thing. Oh Joy!
Well, I finally managed to get my mom to see where Im coming from. I got her to watch "I am an Animal: the Story of Ingrid Newkirk and PETA". I thought the movie would be a good way to show her why I dedicate my life to helping animals. It showed the process of skinning wolves, experimenting on animals, and what went on at butterball turkey. just letting you know that i'll be away from the computer for some hrs, so i won't be able to respond for a bit.

1. i made no comment regarding what friends you should keep.
2. i made no comment as to whether your friends were bad or good ppl (as with most, they probably do both some good and some bad things)
3. i said meaters support the imprisonment, abuse, exploitation and murder of sentient beings - which is inarguable regardless of whether they are aware of doing so.
i can understand though that you may interpret things negatively because of whatever has happened in your life. it is often the case too that things don't come across as intended over the internet forums.
however, i meant what i said regarding your becoming veg for ethical reasons. i have admiration for people like you because of this, since i did it for selfish reasons (my own health) and way back then i didn't know about the ethics and would go as far as saying i probably didn't give a damn either. but i do give a damn now, and my past bad behaviors don't serve as an excuse for others present bad behaviors.
