- Are you Vegetarian, Vegan or something else?
- My husband and I are Vegetarian. We are adding more recipes that are vegan to our diet and hope to someday be vegan.
We are raising our 2 year old vegetarian. My 8 year old daughter wants to be a vegetarian but finds it difficult when with other friends and family due to peer pressure. My 7 year old does not want to be a vegetarian, he makes his own choices at school and I control what I buy and bring into the house.
- About Me:
- Mother of 3 kids-2 ,7, & 8 years. I am here to meet fellow vegetarians/vegans. I am interested in suggestions from other vegetarian/vegan families that may help our family. I am always looking for ways to make this lifestyle more attractive to my very picky eatting 7 year old son.

YES....I also get comments and strange looks when people find out about the veg thing. And, yes, it does make things even more interesting when kids are in school and there is the whole friends parent questions. Not to mention when other kids come to my house and the snacks are not your normal household snacks!!! I like to get the juicer out and make veggie juice....that usually gets our company's attention!! HEHEHE
Nice to meet you my name is Jeannine. Well now at least we can say we have some friends that are veggies. Anyway I have been a vegetarian since I was either 17 or 19 (I am never sure) but it's been a long time ; )
