I am not sure where that pic was taken (does not look like portugal), I am from Portugal and it is great to see in that in the last couple of years a lot of work has been done towards animal rights and a lot of people have become more aware that there need to be a change in our legislation to protect the animals. Controversey has been set as several cities in portugal have placed a ban on bull fighting which in turn has sparked a debate on animal rights on national TV. the first debate was a couple of weeks ago and focused on bull fighting and animals in circuses, I guess that I do not have to say it, naturally the ANIMAL RIGHTS ACTIVIST side completely smashed the bull fighter and circus people in logical arguments. the people who explore animals could only come up with the argument "that people enjoy watching it" no real logic nor any reason...which I think made them look like idiots (that they already are) and has managed to open the eyes of many to the fact that there is no place to animal cruelty in soceity.
