Here's a thought I had today, after a long week of dealing with some die-hard meat eaters who thought it was funny to write a poem about a fox with babies and a wriggling dying rabbit in her teeth ready to have torn apart by the offspring:

---------------------------It's a bit harsh in the end, but, thought you might want to know I'm human, and I can get peeved, too. -------------------------------------------

I think the story of Adam, the unknown spiritual content man and his shadowy gf Eve are not suited for any spiritual book.****************************************

Spirituality, I believe, is about growth, evolution and living a life of peace, wonder and activites good for Earth, animal and human, not as we have it today a world of greed, murder of animals humans and the earth.*********************************

I don't believe there is such a thing as eating from a fruit of good and evil, really. I know for a fact there is no such thing as such a 'fruit' that would hold such weirde concepts, so what was this. I think it is not a 'fruit'. And, since evil needs to be defined, otherwise it is a weirde story, a weirde fruit and would not belong in any God's "Garden" but rather at a discussion table, if one needed counseling about how not to be bad, that is. So, this 'fruit' needs a better explanation as to what in the you know what it is supposed to represent. Period. **************************************************************************

Another thought: Evil to me is killing living things, killing them for food, killing via pollution, robbery, etc. So, would any sane person eat a fruit that had such vile things in it? Why would any 'spiritual leaning or out right spiritual person need to discuss or have such a vile thing in their garden? NO. Something is terribly wrong with all the religions of Earth not to be able to discuss just what the Jewish and Christian 'Bible/Torah' don't do for any of us. *******************

And, has anyone taken a look at the jumbled mess in the Koran? The death if you don't believe mentality of the minds who gobble up the jumbledness as if some kind of mandate? ******* As if sense isn't meant for the human being.... how sic sick and etc.*********************************************

And, if Adam and Eve and God did need to discuss evil why the heck didn't they, and then to surround this 'Garden of Eden' with hellishness and an overly simple non spiritual, non meditative 10 commandments....as if saying, out of the garden, to hell with you, and here, here are a few commandments that I know you won't obey anyway. Gads. What a srewed up Garden of Eden. I'm for disowning them and going enlightened. We don't need their religion.

Next, (obviously I am thinking in blocks of ideas here) without spelling out just what was discussed were are not privy to the mindset of these 2 crazy people.

And, would rotten people chased out of a garden of peace of all things that could only make things worse, would these kinds of people ever ever care, anyway? ***********************************************

In other words, would religion make any difference to these types anyway?

NO!

Last, instant thought - These crazy religions have got to go!

PS Adam is a slacker and Eve is a naughty gal. I simply wouldn't write a book about these 2 sadly sick individuals and build a religion around them. Everyone who is a Christian, Jew, Muslim or otherwise, who believes worshipping a story about 2 crazy individuals is a 'religious' tenet of some kind needs to be put in a NUT HOUSE.

think one way to begin thinking about what is wrong with all the world's religions, governments, tactics for control and so forth can be glimpsed and begun to be understood if we take a look at what we clearly know to be absurd.

For me, the absuridty that turned my mind around was listening to someone defend the Garden Of Eden, God of that garden, and the dismal plight of the two individuals cast out of it.

Here, gnaw on this:

What .... completely missed is the fact that this Judaic and now Christian God felt it necessary to create a Garden of Eden that had a forbidden or should I rename it... a POISONED apple in it.

And that this God... had the gall to tempt mortal beings with it.

And then this God had the gall to punish without counseling these two poor underdeveloped mortal beings... by throwing them out of the garden and into the perverted hell a world where animals and other living being eat each other for domination, food and sport.

And then, to have millions of people blindly worship the religion that worships these acts by this despotic God, just takes the CAKE!

Here's another concept, one that makes sense to mull over...and then you'll find that there is no reason to fault another for their ills, savvy or harsh ways... unless they hurt you, yours or the things you love, of course. Here it is, one could assume ... now that we see clearly how people kill animals and eat them with no misgivings... that Adam and Eve or any similar story in religion or lore... left the garden of Eden (the place of peace and kindnesses) on their own because they were of a menacing soul, and they knew the garden was too namby pamby for them.... (ahem...) Another thought next week, or maybe you have another view. THanks for all the comments. Glad to see that so many folks care enough to think about a more beautiful realm. Really, so very glad....

Have you ever dreamed, day dreamed or walked a day where you thought of our world as peaceful, loving and without killing, war, greed and consumption of any foods whatsoever?
It's a good meditation, by the way, as well.
