This is the very problem: we could bring the nature as we know it, life on this planet, down.
If we, who already understood, back off, we let the rest (many stupid and ill-greedy people among them) rule. Therefore, we may not give up. Even minimal participation from all of us is highly important.

I understand! I get sometime hurt and very aggressive - I know, it's wrong and that we must work on justice and prevention. It is easy to get downhearted, damages are so huge, unnecessary and ongoing.

I tend to think the main issue of our age is Energy (in the broadest sense). What, How, How much is consumed? How is it renewed? and probably the main q is - What for?

Note that I avoid 'we'. There are sellers and buyers or even those who want to buy and those who'd rather not sell and many other puzzling combinations in between.

Yeah, the natural catastrophe that calls itself humanity is headed for a agonizing crash of one kind or another, maybe soon.

I tend to think that most people alive today will miss the brunt of it (many animals and plants have been in it for a long time already, and will get much more before we're through with them), but unless we all wise up very soon the misery could be enormous.

We are a changeable/adaptable bunch though (which may be the problem in the first place), so we might muddle through.

This fallible muddler hopes he is wrong.
