that is very informative, but do u really believe in brotherhood of humans?

from my personal experience i don't, simply doesn't work

Reply to This

no, i am against speciesism what so ever, i think "individuals". these humans are not those humans, human is just a form of existence, not enough for a common ground.

glad you've found it informative, few ideas was new for me, and some seemed a bit exaggerated - or maybe not?

Reply to This

well, I'm not an expert but overall it sounds trustworthy except the 'epilogue'

what exactly did you find exaggerated there?

Reply to This

Agree; I meant few points at the end. by the way, where exactly they speak about brotherhood, at the very end?
No money or power lust, concentrated in one person or elite group could bring the method to manipulate the world fully - there are to many factors, they couldn't possibly change or even consider.
Some important points - e.g. the ground for manipulation - fear and greed in each of "us", or also overpopulation, - they even didn't mentioned.

they seem to have said something like 'we are all one' which is about the same for me

don't get me wrong, I have nothing against this idea but it simply is not feasible, we are not designed that way

yes, of course it's not a matter of conspiracy, people are treated the way they tolerate

it's a very broad issue and certainly I don't have the answers but I tend to look at it from the following perspective

we as a species are close to the point when everything is irreversably eaten (processed, extracted, produced, taken) and soon it's our time to move on

there are way too many of us and we utterly depend on one another, the only way of consumption restriction, so that there is something left at least in short term, would be .. taking off the basement

maybe new technologies can help to break the dependency circle? + individualism? and primarily - mental and moral growth? (don't laugh, i know)
at the moment i believe more in realization of non-sustainability, you know; e.g. slavery gone away mainly because it was less effective organizational form of production then new ones, actually not that effective at all.
every time the hardest is to change the outdated way of thinking.

Reply to This

of course we all tend to hope and look for a solution, moreover. we have to

yet personally I haven't noticed slavery going away, it's just relocated, for a while

soon people, unless really qualified and experienced, won't be needed to produce things, job is becoming a priviledge and so is life, the pyramide is turning up side down and transforming into a funnel, sink or should I say black hole

Reply to This

- relocated, and took other forms - the most of new slaves don' t realize the fact and feel even fortunate to be "better" slaves then others :-).

ha, I like the theory you've mentioned, but still, i think - the change will follow not abrupt and not it that scenic way! ;-)

Lena, I hope you'll prove right

but how would you handle the issues of overpopulation, energy supply, pollution, etc.?
