WE CREATED A GROUP FOR VOLUNTEERS - GO NOW

We've had people wanting to volunteer so we decided to share what we need right now. This community is a work in prgress and we are simply allowing.

Feel free to suggest whatever you want to contribute. Here are activities I know we'll be needing.

It will be one week before I start contacting you to get the projects going.

- Meet & Greet
Welcome new members by leaving a comment and answering any questions they might have.
- Local laison with the No Kill shelter
First you must nominate your local no kill shelter. Once selected you would be awarding the checks we send, posting pictures and information about the project.
- Web Design
Create banner ads and badges for members. Creat web pages for our site
- Activist
We call this an activist position because it could work intoa full time paid position. If selected we place coin boxes in your town. You spend 4 hours a week picking up the money form the boxes and depositing the money at the local bank. This is flexible as you can go any time the businesses are open to collect the money. These boxes are similar to the cans or plastic boxes at cash registers that ask you to donate your change.
- Media Relations
Will write press releases and get media coverage for our issues
-Chat Room Admin
You will be admin in the chat room which means if someone gets out of hand you can ban them and kick them out. If they simply dont know the rules you direct them to the page we're creating that will have the rules.

Please post where you live, what kind of time you have for any activuity you wish to do.

We should speak to the manufacturer of the shots and see if we can get them involved too. I will be looking at the site.

i live in NYC and would be interested in helping out any way i can. i am not necessarily good for any type of design or technical stuff, but i can get by if show the basics pretty well. anything else that you need, i'm willing/able to do. and i do have car and will travel to local areas if it would help outside the metro area.

I would like to nominate my local No Kill shelter, MARL (Michigan Animal Rescue League). They are a nonprofit organization, and they do not euthenize unless injury or disease requires them to. They pick up strays in their area (they are located in Pontiac, MI), and those that are abandoned/turned over to them. All animals receive medical attention (vaccinations, testing, and sterilization). They house anywhere from 100-120 animals at any given time.
I'd also be willing to do the coin boxes.

I work with my husband, whom owns his own business, so I am available whenever I need to be.

We need people to help with translations in a site that is a Veg-Catalogue or a Veg Census.

I created a kind of vegetarian list or catalog, a census of vegetarians. It’s a place for all vegs to register and to show how many we are, who we are, were we are spread at, etc. It’s meant to be a tool to show a very important change in our culture for others to change as well, maybe in the business and politic field. www.cadastroveg.org
It’s not a social network, is just a simple list or a veg census. I call it: Veg-Catalogue.
This catalog is being translated into English, but the translation it‘s not ready yet and I need help to have it translated into English (as well as reviewed). It would be nice if we have it translated to Spanish too and other languages. (The priority is English and the other languages would be set as a kind of guide in a link while we organize the English translation.). IT WOULD BE HELPFUL IF WE HAVE IT TRANSLATED INTO SPANISH OR FRENCH TOO!
In this phase all we need is a kind of guide, or subtitle of the buttons or items of the main register link. Does anybody could help me, please?
